Sep. 25, 2024The SCIP near-infrared spectropolarimeter equipped with our waveplate has successfully acquired high-quality solar observation data. The National Astronomical Observatory of Japan has informed us that SUNRISE-Ⅲ, which was launched on July 10, 2024, successfully completed its six-day flight observations without any major issues. The SUNRISE-Ⅲ has three observation instruments including SCIP, and all of them were able to obtain very high quality solar observation data. The SCIP is equipped with our waveplate, and we received words of gratitude from the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan for the success of this experiment. We are very pleased to be able to contribute to the observation of solar polarization, and everyone at the company is delighted with the honor. We hope that the research will progress further through the processing and calibration of the observation data in the future. For more information on this matter is listed on the notice
